Fair and secure elections are the backbone of democracy. What happens after you cast your ballot? What’s true – and what isn’t – about our election process? In this important election year, we invite you to attend an informative, nonpartisan discussion aimed at a deeper understanding of how we vote and tally results in Northampton County.

Keep Our Republic is a civic education nonprofit group focused on election integrity and trust in our electoral system.

Join PBS39 for a free town hall discussion with Keep Our Republic. The event will feature a panel discussion moderated by LehighValleyNews.com Politics Reporter Tom Shortell. Panelists include:

  • Northampton County Executive Lamont McClure
  • John Jones, President of Dickinson College and a retired federal judge
  • Chris Borick, Professor of Political Science, Director of the Muhlenberg College Institute of Public Opinion

Advanced registration required to be part of the audience. Limited seats remain.

*Please note: Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Overflow seating will be available in our secondary studio and adjacent community room where the program will be live streamed. All attendees, regardless of location, will have the opportunity to share their questions.

The audience is requested to refrain from clapping or verbal responses during debate. If these standards are not observed, individuals will be escorted from the premises.
